reforestation

Help us plant 4,000+ trees

Trees are one of the most important components in a healthy rainforest. After all, what’s a rainforest without trees? They are the basis for the jungle - providing habitat, supplying food, storing carbon, furnishing shade, and so much more.

The property we are currently protecting was once partially used for livestock and agriculture, leaving spaces of barren rainforest. We’ve estimated that it will take roughly 4,000 tree seedlings in order to reforest the retired farmland. In the fall of 2025, our team began planting native trees in the most devasted of areas in hopes of jumpstarting our reforestation efforts.

In 2026, we hope to plant at least 100 more native tree seedlings to steadily build back up our lost rainforest. Not only will this project be improving the health of our rainforest, but it will also provide a blueprint for larger scale ref0restation projects in the future.
